Piet Mondriaan
(Amersfoort, 1872 - New York, 1944). Piet Mondriaan (Mondrian) was a 20th century abstract painter. He evolved a non-representional form which he termed Neo-Plasticism. This consisted of a grid of vertical and horizontal black lines and the use of the three primary colors. A 17-story condominium was launched in Singapore in April 2007 with the name "Parc Mondrian". The architecture is insprired by the cubist paintings of Piet Mondriaan, bases on lines and planes.
